Marketing Fusion is a busy content marketing agency working with global tech brands and high-growth SaaS vendors. We deliver impactful and engaging marketing programmes that help our clients drive business growth.

About the role

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be pivotal in supporting the wider team and our clients. You will be responsible for day-to-day running of a range of project types. You’ll liaise between the client and agency colleagues to coordinate activities and maintain momentum ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

You will build strong, effective client and internal relationships, to ensure client objectives are met or exceeded.

Role breakdown

  • Work with the Account Director(s) to understand client needs, develop clear briefs and communicate requirements to the Studio team
  • Manage and maintain momentum on client projects and campaigns
  • With training and support, handle budgets and manage campaign costs
  • Become familiar with our clients' products, business culture and competition and maintain your knowledge of these
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all team members to enable excellence in client delivery
  • Prepare and be ready to present at meetings and share meeting summaries
  • Accompany Account Director(s) on client visits, as needed
  • Actively contribute to all aspects of agency life and account management including:
    • Meetings (both internal and external)
    • Brainstorms
    • Pitches
  • Administration support including project set up in our project management systems, taking notes in meetings, research for client projects, proofreading and project set up on Dropbox and Teamwork
  • Web maintenance / administration support
  • To be an ambassador for the agency

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • You’ll have a recognised marketing qualification: a Marketing degree, a CIM/IDM/DMA diploma or have completed at least a level 4 apprenticeship (this is non-negotiable)
  • You’ll have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Marketing / creative agency experience is preferred
  • Superb communication skills
  • Commercial awareness

Software knowledge:

  • You must be HubSpot Certified (e.g. Inbound, Content Marketing, Marketing Hub Implementation)
  • Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • SEMRush, and TeamWork are used all day, every day. Knowledge and experience of these platforms would be advantageous
  • Other CRM and project management software would be helpful

Location:

The role is remote, but you’ll be required to attend 2+ team / co-working days per month in or around the Berkshire / Surrey / Hampshire area. Ideally, you'll live within those areas.
